The main prerequisite to gaining a role in New Zealand is registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand. Qualifications from South Africa, England, USA, Canada, Australia and Ireland are accepted, other countries need further assessment, it is a paper based process and takes 2-3 months to achieve. The registration application is essentially a very large and detailed cv on the Physio board registration templates https://www.physioboard.org.nz/i-want-to-be-registered/overseas. It does require 2 short essays and material is supplied for this.
